Sarah wants to rollerskate...

Sarah was so excited to go "rollerskating". What's funny is we've never been and were not planning a trip to the rink that day or in the near future. I'm thinking she saw it on one of her cartoons that morning. She was so excited to go but I'm unsure what she thought rollerskating actually was... Any ideas?

Needless to say, we went for a walk instead.

Dean let the kids out behind the restaurant and this is what happened! Sometimes you just have to let kids be kids....

She Doesn't Stop Folks!

I know it's sideways but use you imagination! It took me forever to upload these videos and when it came to rotating them well, it just wasn't worth it!

Well, It's been a while since I have actually written anything so here it is. Grammy was here. Oh the fun the kids had with her; sledding, adventure walks to the neighborhood store and one-on-one time. The kids loved every second and continue to ask when she is coming over. Dean told me just yesterday that her plain landed and we needed to go pick her up from the airport.
How nice it was for me and Dean as well. We enjoyed a nice dinner alone and a ski day with lil' Dean. Not to mention; a clean house, laundry done, a home cooked meal every night and sitter, all rapped up in one. Amazing, I know!

Jade, our yellow lab, had us scared after not being able to keep any food down for a week. The vet thought it was liver cancer but after a few simple tests, it was just an infection. After a week of medication, she seems to be feeling better.

Sarah has officially started potty training. She is doing very well and loves wearing panties. She actually refuses to wear diapers which is good in some ways but when your at the store, it makes for a whole new meaning to "run to the store" or is it, "run through the store".

Lil' Dean is continuing to improve in skiing and loves to go super fast which is the reason for grey hairs to suddenly appearing on my head... which Dean so gently pointed out the other night!!!

Dean has been extremely busy at The Snake Creek Grill which is great! Not seeing your husband, not so great!

I am gearing up for oral surgery on Tuesday. It is time to get my stubborn, impacted wisdom tooth out of my mouth once and for all. I am finally ready (thanks Johnny).

We are preparing for Sarah's Diego Birthday Party and Lil' Dean's Lightning McQueen Party, not really Lil' Dean, he just thinks he' s having one too! We'll figure it out!

I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day! Love from Utah!

Always remember, Sunshine is Free! (thanks jamie)

Baby Steps...

This week somehow turned into the week of "new things". Lil' Dean had his first experience skiing with his dad. He did amazing! Skied the entire mountain, the entire day and can't wait to do it again... Dean said he smiled the whole day! He thought the rope tow was a train track and he was Thomas. It meant so much to me that the "boys" had a day together.

Sarah's first of the week was not only trying to clean my coffee table with my brand new lavandar soap (I'll let you all know how the dust holds up on that one!) but, she also began pooping on the potty! Amazing, I know! It's happen twice on the potty and once on the floor right in front of the potty (close but no cigar...). Hey, as a parent, one less diaper is one less diaper!

As for Dean and I, we went on a date!!!! I know!!!! We decided to take some time and get back to us. Well deserved and needed. We decided, well skiing of course. It was so much fun! Sometimes you get so rapped up in your kids, you find yourself lost... I encourage everyone to take time out for you!

Well, that was our week. I will post pictures, and hopefully video, of lil' Dean skiing! Keep reading and I will keep blogging. Have a wonderful week. I love you all and send kisses and hugs!

Happy New Year!

Finally! I have been introduces to the world of "Bloggers". I'm hoping to post at least once a week but we all know life does happen...

I hope you all had a wonderful New Year! We let dad sleep a little, he's been working VERY hard! Then, when everyone had had their naps and were raring and ready to go, we decided sledding would be the New Year activity. Considering we've had a ton of snow, there wasn't much to chose from.

It was so fun! A family day! Dean send the kids down a run all by themselves in which, they caught air and managed to sled backwards from the majority of the run. Dean was digging it but of course Sarah thought it was amazing!!

I highly recomend sledding for all the parents wanting a good night's sleep! The kids were pooped afterwards...

Well, that's all I have for now. I hope this blog keeps the family in tune with the kids...
